Although he was born in Agege Lagos State, an environment, largely associated with infectious hooliganism and radicalism, Ismail grew up as a young man who was well bred on the culture of responsibility and initiative. He attended Irepodun Primary School Agege and Oniwaya High School Agege for his Primary and Secondary education respectively. He later proceeded to the Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo where he bagged a Bachelors of Arts (Education) degree in Islamic Studies in 2012.
